Q: Where is Khimyan Curry's curry paste being made and is it authentic?

A: Our curry paste products are made in Penang, Malaysia. If you're a foodie who's addicted to curry, you'll be happy to hear that they're made according to old family recipes that have stood the test of time. They are as authentic as any curry dish being enjoyed around Penang and the rest of Malaysia.

 

 

Q: What is so special about your curry paste compared to the other curry paste products in the market?

A: Our curry paste is made from high-quality natural ingredients, supported by automated packing machines that help ensure freshness and quality control. In addition to that, our products are free from chemical additives like artificial flavors and coloring. Why? Because we're big fans of natural food and healthy-eating. 

 

 

Q: I'm a Muslim. Is your products certified as HALAL?

A: Yes. Our products have been certified as HALAL by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia, JAKIM. They are safe for consumption by our Muslim customers. You may view our Halal Certificate on About Us page.

 

 

Q: Where can I buy your products?

A: They can be found at many locations in gourmet specialty stores around Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan. If you use a Google Map, we can even navigate you to the store location near you!

 

 

Q: How should I store my stuff? What is the shelf life?

A: Curry Paste should be stored in a cool and dry environment and keep away from direct sunlight or hot temperature. The shelf life for all of our curry pastes are about 18 months.

 

 

Q: Are there any allergen considerations for your products?

A: We packed our curry paste in a plant where no soy based products are produced. However, we use palm oil in our ingredients and it may be consist of some sort of soy.

Q: How can I pay online?

 

A: Although we really like you and trust you, we do require prepayment on all orders. We accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, PayPal and Malaysian Bank Internet Banking (FPX). Or if you'd like, you can directly make a deposit to our bank account, but please give us a heads up.

 

 

Q: Tell me more about domestic shipping please?

A: Orders are fulfilled with our shipping partner Easyparcel. Domestic shipping takes 3 - 5 days in Peninsula Malaysia and 5 - 7 days in Sabah & Sarawak. We will use your shipping address to provide an accurate delivery quote at checkout.

 

 

Q: Do you ship to overseas?

A: Yes, you can either order in our online store or through Lazada Malaysia. All international orders are directly shipped out from our factory in Penang, Malaysia. 

 

 

Q: How long does it takes for international order? 

A: Average International Shipping Transit Time:

Zone 1 (within 5 - 6 days): Brunei, Singapore
Zone 2 (within 6 - 7 days): Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam
Zone 3 (within 7 - 8 days): Australia, India, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, India
Zone 4 (within 8 - 9 days): Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom, United States
However, we can only carry maximum of 15kg to all domestic and International Order.

 

 

Q: Do you mark up on the shipping cost?

A: Never! We do not make money on shipping; instead, we simply pass on the costs. We are adamantly opposed to packaging or handling charges. In fact, you can check the shipping rate before you place an order with us (Simply choose Pulau Pinang on the 'From' field).

 

 

Q: What are the shipping options?

A: At Khimyan Curry we recognize the importance of processing your order as fast as possible. We, too, are consumers who buy things online and like to receive our orders right away, as in yesterday! With this in mind we hustle to package and ship your order immediately so that you can get it ASAP. We use Skynet for Peninsular Malaysia, Nationwide Express for East Malaysia and SF Express for most International Orders.

 

 

Q: Where is my shipment?

A: You will receive an email with tracking number once your order is shipped. You may check the delivery status online instantly.

 

 

Q: I received notification that my package has been delivered, but I don’t have it!

A: Occasionally, a carrier might scan a package and state that it was delivered before it actually arrives at its final destination. If within a few hours, you still do not have your package:

  • See if someone else accepted delivery. Check with household members, neighbours, building managers, the mail room, front desk, and anyone else who might have accepted the delivery.
  • Look around the delivery location. Carriers sometimes leave packages in a safe, hidden place like on a side porch, behind your fence, in/around your garage, or behind bushes.
  • Look for a notice of attempted delivery. You may find an attempted delivery notice in your mailbox or on your front door. Follow the instructions on that notice to request re-delivery or pick up the package. 

 

Q: Can I return the order?

A: If you don't like something, please tell us immediately. Our goal is to make you happy and fix things for both today and tomorrow and we will strive to do everything in our power to make things right. If you want to return something, just contact us first and we will take appropriate action to replace/exchange/refund or whatever it takes to make you happy. We do however ask you to submit the return details ASAP (preferably within a week of receiving your goodies, the contact details are outlined in the return form) so we can jump on things considering the perishable nature of our products. Returns and exchanges may be subject to a restocking fee.

 

 

Q: Is it safe to order online?

A: We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to protect the security of your credit card information. To verify that you are safely connected to our secure server before submitting your financial information, check the lower edge of your browser window. A closed lock or key indicates that all communication between your computer and our server is securely encrypted.

 

 

Q: How do I know that my information will be protected?

A: We too dislike telemarketers disturbing us during dinner and junk mail and junk e-mail that clogs our mailboxes beyond belief, and therefore, we will never divulge your name, e-mail address, or anything about you to anyone (not even under physical duress).
